During lockdown, like many others, I found myself with a bit more time and a strong urge to encourage people. So I started designing a few Christian greeting cards and prints – simple, hopeful messages that pointed to faith and brought a bit of light.
What started as a creative side project quickly grew into a little online shop: Paul Shears Designs on Etsy. Since then, I’ve sold over 700 products to customers across the UK and beyond.
Each design is printed on high-quality card, with care taken in both the design and packaging. Some are fun and playful, others more reflective – all created to encourage and uplift.
This experience has given me a real appreciation for what’s involved in creating physical products for retail and online sale – from stock management and postage to customer service and staying on top of trends.
It’s still ticking away in the background, and I’m always glad to hear from people who’ve used the cards to say something meaningful to a friend or family member.
